New Orleans is a vibrant city renowned for its unique blend of cultures, distinctive music, and rich history. Known as the birthplace of jazz, it also boasts a world-famous French Quarter with its distinctive architecture and lively atmosphere. The city is a major tourist destination, particularly during the annual Mardi Gras, a massive celebration.

Memphis history spans from indigenous settlements to a major trade hub, cotton center, and cultural powerhouse, named after ancient Egypt, founded in 1819 on Chickasaw lands. It grew through cotton, survived yellow fever, and became a crossroads for blues, rock 'n' roll, and R&B music, famously home to Graceland and Beale Street. The city also holds significant Civil Rights history, marked by Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination at the Lorraine Motel in 1968, now the National Civil Rights Museum.
